The Way Staff
Tom Reynolds, Executive Director
Tom was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, and became a Christian while in college in 1979. He quickly decided to enter the ministry, and spent the next several years in campus ministry at Pepperdine University in Malibu, California, at the University of Denver, and Princeton University in New Jersey. Tom and his family moved to the Huntsville area in 1994 to preach for the Central Church of Christ. As part of that ministry, he began an outreach program for addiction recovery in 1997. Tom left the full-time ministry in 2007, and worked in the business world while volunteering his time to help start The Way, a Christ-centered residential recovery facility for men. Today, Tom is the full-time Executive Director for The Way. As Executive Director, Tom is personally involved with each resident's recovery plan, he teaches classes and counsels with the men in the program daily, and also represents The Way to the community. He's married to Selwyn Reynolds, and has 2 children and 1 grandchild. Tom holds a Business degree from the University of Washington and a Masters in Religion from David Lipscomb University.
