2025 Year in Review

Expanding God’s Kingdom

“So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase.” (I Corinthians 3:7)

In 2007, in a single house on Shields Road, His Way began acting on a single, vital mission: to Reclaim individuals from a life of addiction, Rebuild them in spiritual sobriety in Christ, and Restore them to productive, Christ-like service in society.

Today, 19 years later, the heart of our mission remains the same. The scale, however, has seen incredible increase by the grace and blessings of God.

Opening New Doors

2025 was a year full of tangible reminders of God’s enduring faithfulness.

Our recovery facility grew to 8 acres through the addition of a new house.  This expanded our residential capacity, allowing up to 55 men to live on campus at once.  We also purchased three new buildings across the street as temporary homes for men who have graduated from the program as they prepare to reintegrate into independent life.  These new buildings are wonderful resources that will allow us to walk with more and more struggling individuals into the light of Christ.

We acquired the Pathfinder property at 3104 SW Ivy Avenue near Milton Frank Stadium, thanks to the generosity of the Pathfinder board. The Pathfinder program has been a pillar of recovery hope in the Huntsville area for 50 years. We are deeply grateful for this gift and are prayerfully considering the best way for it to serve the mission of His Way in the future.

Celebrating His Way

The Saving Way

2025 was a year of growth, progress, and plenty of reminders that God continues to provide through The Saving Way thrift stores. Every donation dropped off and every purchase made played a part in supporting our stores—and more importantly, in changing lives through His Way Recovery.

Our favorite part of the year is always the opening of The Santa Way Christmas Shop each fall. Located inside our University Drive store, The Santa Way opened in late Fall 2025 with twinkling lights, happy shoppers, and even a cozy hot cocoa bar that made the season feel extra special. With generous donations, amazing volunteers, and strong community support, it turned into our most successful season yet. Every purchase helped spread Christmas cheer while supporting the life-changing work happening at His Way Recovery.
