“Don’t be intimidated if you don’t share the same struggles as the men in our program. Just get to know them and use whatever talents God has given you to serve and show God’s love to them. If that means giving a monetary donation (as the accountant I always like this method), serving a meal, attending a graduation, volunteering at the thrift stores, or just spending time with our men and their families, God will bless your efforts. I never thought the simple act of helping with thrift store donations or casual bookkeeping could change my life in such a profound way, but it has. God always has a plan.”
